A relaxed bilingual walking meet-up in Nice for adults who want to practise English and French through real conversation, meet new people, and explore the city together.

For this walk, we’ll take the little Train des Pignes for a short 5-minute ride up to Saint-Philippe, near the entrance to the park. You can use a standard Lignes d’Azur tram/bus ticket for the journey.
🕒 Meeting time: 3:00 pm
The train leaves at 3:20 pm, so please arrive a few minutes early. Unfortunately we can’t wait for latecomers, as the trains are not very frequent at weekends.
The walk
As always, this will be a relaxed and social walk with plenty of opportunities to chat in both English and French along the way.
This park is still relatively unknown, even to many locals, partly because the entrance is difficult to find if you don’t already know it. But it’s well worth discovering: the route combines shaded woodland paths, a grove of ancient olive trees, and beautiful views over the sea and the airport.
The first half of the walk is uphill, but mostly on gentle winding paths rather than steep climbs.
💧 Please bring water and wear comfortable shoes.
⚠️ There are no cafés inside the park, although there is a drinking water fountain near the top (for humans and dogs alike!).
Language exchange
Our walks are designed as a bilingual exchange, with conversation naturally moving between English and French throughout the afternoon.
Some people join mainly for language practice, others more for the social side — most come for both. The atmosphere is always friendly, relaxed, and supportive, so don’t worry if you feel shy or not yet confident speaking.
