Some of our events, including our regular Our regular Walk & Talk meet-ups are free, friendly, and open to anyone living in or around Nice.
From relaxed conversation walks to immersive neighbourhood discoveries, our events bring language learning out of the classroom and into everyday life — through real conversations, shared experiences, and a welcoming local community.
Whether you’re new to Nice or have lived here for years, our events are designed to help you feel more confident, more connected, and more at home.
Walk & Talk – Nice
Friendly, informal walking meet-ups for adults living in or around Nice.
A relaxed way to get fresh air, practise English and French, enjoy good conversation, and become part of a warm, international local community.
Some people come mainly for the language practice.
Others come for the social side.
Most come for both.
Free to attend – no booking, no commitment.
Meet the Street
Bilingual immersive mini-tours, one street at a time.
Meet the Street is a signature experience created & curated by Clare Catchpole, founder of English in Nice / Nice en Français.
Each edition focuses on one of Nice’s vibrant local streets and brings together adult English and French learners to explore the city through its people.
Together, we meet artisans, entrepreneurs, creatives and community makers who give each neighbourhood its character — while practising language naturally along the way.
