English in Nice / Nice en Français is a bilingual community for adults who want to use, improve and enjoy English and French in real-life situations.
Through walks, conversations, local discoveries and themed activities, we create opportunities to connect with others, explore Nice and practise both languages in a relaxed and supportive environment.

For July only, you’re welcome to join the programme for a single month and experience the community before deciding whether you’d like to continue in September.
The cost for the full July programme is €24 and includes four bilingual activities throughout the month.

All activities are fully bilingual. Time is shared as equally as possible between English and French, and participants are encouraged to use both languages regardless of their level.
Level required: approximately A2 or above in your target language. You don’t need to be fluent, but you should already be able to hold a simple conversation.
July Theme: Postcards from Nice
Summer is a curious time in Nice. As residents, it’s easy to focus on the heat, the crowds and the busy season. But what if, for a few weeks, we looked at our city through fresh eyes?
Inspired by the simple charm of postcards, we’ll take time to notice the places, conversations, memories and small discoveries that make Nice special.
A postcard is more than just a picture. It’s a way of sharing a place, capturing a moment and creating a memory. Together, we’ll rediscover Nice through fresh eyes, collecting our own postcard moments along the way.
Whether you’ve lived here for twenty years or arrived last month, July is an opportunity to slow down, enjoy the season and see Nice from a fresh perspective.

Optional Language Focus
For those who enjoy a little extra language practice, we’ll explore ways to talk about memories, past habits and traditions using used to, would and the imparfait.
